The VNTE team are all excellent on stage and at functions & events ,each with their own specialist added extras and our administration team is just as excellent in keeping our company running well .

Based either in Pretoria or Johannesburg the Team will  work in venues across South Africa and the World as requested .

Donald is a skilled followspotter and stage technician . Since the late 1990's Donald has worked at the State Theatre  and many other theatres within South Africa. He has worked on most ballets,operas and musicals and pantomimes within South Africa . With a driver's license , Donald is our team leader. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One of our seniors , Joe started in theatre in 1992 with PACT Opera . His repertoire includes most of the South African productions of ballets and operas and musicals and pantomimes.Joe is a followspotter who has worked across South Africa and on international tours. Joe can also work generic lighting and has a driver’s license .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mike started his theatre career in 2004. His repertoire includes most of the South African repertoire of ballets and operas and musicals .Mike also mends props, sets functions and has a driver's license. 

 

Simon joined us in 2022  and has proved his worth , learning the ropes of the trade.  With a couple of ballets and many school shows, Simon is learning fast 

Caiphus has been with us for over 7 years  and is learning fast as a mult tasker. Many ballets and school shows are part of his repertoire 

  Joining us certification from TUT , Riaan is great at manufacture and as a props person on stage. With a drivers license, and adet at multi skilling . 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Andrew has over 16 years experience gained at the Joburg Theatre , the Market Theatre and the Dance Factory . Working on various pantomimes, ballets and corporate functions, along on  many festivals Marlon's repertoire is extensive.

Quiet but very multi skilled , Marlon ( as he is known with us) can also run props.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lawrence started out in 2015 at the Market Theatre .Moving on to set ups at The Teatro and Joburg Theatre he has added many musicals, ballets and operas and pantomimes to his credits.

 

Edwin started out in 2006 , and then onto dance Umbrella in 2007 . A super multi tasker , Edwin has worked on most ballets, operas and musicals and pantomimes . 

Growing up in the theatre environment and more than a 25 year career in theatre.

Simon started out as a part time assistant lighting technician at the State Theatre Pretoria before spending 15 months in the army. In 1995 he was promoted to Lighting Technician and in 1998 to Senior. His  first lighting designs commenced in  1992. Lighting technician  in all aspects from an assistant stage lighting rigger, to stage electrics, followspotter, board operator and lighting designer  for drama, dance, ballet , opera, musicals, festivals, rock concerts, gospel productions, television adverts, contemporary music. International productions such as Cats, Phantom of the Opera, Tap Dogs, Fame and  Burn the Floor.

Simon has a driver's license

 

 

 

 

 

 

Arno has been with us since day one !  Looking after our financials, our human resources, seeing to payrolls and so much more.

Competently working with  Word Processors (MS Word, Open Office), Spreadsheets (MS Excel, Open Office), Accounting and Debtors (Pastel Accounting, ME+, Goodx)  and Payroll (VIP Payroll, Sage Pastel)  Arno keeps us squeaky clean on the financial side.
